- Emergency Contacts: Names and phone numbers of emergency contacts you designate

- Location Data: Real-time GPS location when using the app (for both riders and drivers) to facilitate ride matching, navigation, and safety features
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information
- Usage Data: Trip history, search queries, in-app interactions, preferences, and settings
- Log Data: IP address, access times, app crashes, and diagnostic information

3.1 With Other Users
- Riders see: Driver's name, photo, vehicle details, license plate, ratings, and real-time location during trips
- Drivers see: Rider's name, photo (if provided), pickup and destination locations, and ratings
- Emergency Contacts: In the event of an SOS alert, designated emergency contacts receive trip details and real-time location
3.2 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist with:
- Payment processing (mobile money, card payments)
- SMS and push notification delivery
- Cloud hosting and data storage
- Mapping and geolocation services
- Analytics and performance monitoring
- Customer support tools
3.3 For Legal and Safety Reasons

- Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
- Trip records: Retained for 7 years for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes
- Deleted accounts: Most data is deleted within 90 days, except where retention is required by law

You can disable location services in your device settings, but this will prevent you from using core features of the app (ride requests, navigation).

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, and you use the Platform at your own risk.

Ridarr is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of Ghana where our service providers are located. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that adequate safeguards are in place.
