Welcome to Ridarr. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ridarr platform, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Ridarr Platform, you confirm that:

Ridarr operates a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent drivers who provide ride-hailing services. Ridarr is not a transportation carrier and does not provide transportation services directly.

Riders can use the Platform to request rides, view pricing estimates, track drivers in real-time, make payments, and rate completed trips.

2.2 For Drivers

Drivers can use the Platform to receive ride requests, accept or decline trips, navigate to destinations, and receive payment for completed trips.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Fare Calculation

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and other factors as displayed in the app before trip confirmation. Ridarr reserves the right to adjust pricing based on market conditions.

5.2 Payment Methods

Riders may pay via mobile money, credit/debit cards, or other payment methods supported by the Platform. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

5.3 Cancellation Fees

Riders may be charged a cancellation fee if they cancel a trip after a driver has accepted and begun traveling to the pickup location. The applicable cancellation fee is displayed in the app.

5.4 Driver Earnings

Drivers receive a percentage of each fare after Ridarr's commission. Commission rates are communicated to drivers before they accept trips. Drivers are responsible for their own taxes and expenses.

7.1 Emergency SOS

Riders may use the Emergency SOS feature to alert emergency contacts, drivers, and Ridarr support in case of safety concerns during a trip. Use of this feature for non-emergency purposes may result in account suspension.

7.2 Background Checks

Ridarr conducts background checks on drivers to the extent permitted by Ghana law. However, Ridarr does not guarantee the suitability or safety of any driver and is not liable for driver conduct.

8. Intellectual Property

The Ridarr Platform, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Ridarr and protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose only.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ridarr, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12. Termination

Ridarr may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, safety concerns, or any other reason at Ridarr's sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

13. Changes to Terms

Ridarr reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
